Styles
Full Height
These shutters are the full height of the window, and can feature a mid rail if preferred. Also if shutters are over a certain height the midrail gives added stability.
Tier on Tier
This style is when the top section of the shutters opens separately from the bottom.
Special Shaped
These can be arched, fans, circular or triangular. These shutters can only be made from our hardwood shutter ranges.
Cafe Style Shutters
These shutters normally cover the lower half of a window.
Design Options
When considering shutters for your home, there are a variety of options available to enhance both functionality and aesthetics. One key feature is the louvers (slats), which come in an array of widths to suit your design preferences.
Tilt Rod
We offer the centre tilt rod option, or alternatively the tilt rod can be offset to the side.
The tilt rod is the heart of your light-and-privacy control. Crafted from the same fine hardwood as your louvers, it links every slat so that with a single, smooth motion you can pivot all the blades in perfect unison.
Hidden Tilt
The hidden‐tilt mechanism seamlessly integrates your light-and-privacy control into the frame of the shutter—no visible rod, no visual interruption. Each louver is linked by an internal gear track discreetly housed within the stile, so a gentle nudge or pull on any slat sets the entire panel into smooth, synchronized motion.
Louvre Sizes
Choosing the right slat size is about balancing light control, privacy and aesthetics. Our 63 mm louvers offer a classic look with more slats per panel—ideal if you want fine-tuned light filtration and superior privacy, as the smaller gaps make it harder to see through.
The mid-size 76 mm option hits the sweet spot: fewer slats give a cleaner, more contemporary appearance while still allowing precise light adjustment and a comfortable view to the outside.
If you crave maximum openness, nothing beats our 89 mm louvers—fewer, wider slats mean more daylight pours in, the sightlines are virtually unobstructed, and cleaning is a breeze. Whatever your style or functional needs, there’s a slat size to make your space feel just right.
Hinges
We provide standard matching hinges for our white and off-white shutters, with alternative colors available. Our bathroom shutter range exclusively features stainless steel hinges.
